Spurs are contending with two key suspensions for the visit of the Toffees

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has two fresh selection headaches for the visit of Everton on Saturday, with Yves Bissouma and Destiny Udogie suspended.

Bissouma will sit out the next four games after being shown his second red card of the season in last week's 2-0 win at Nottingham Forest, while Udogie serves a one-match ban for picking up five yellow cards.

Postecoglou will be reluctant to move Ben Davies from centre-half, where he has impressed of late, so Emerson Royal could cover at left-back while Oliver Skipp and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg are competing to replace Bissouma in the midfield.

Skipp came off the bench ahead of Hojbjerg at the City Ground but the Dane is arguably a better fit as Spurs' deepest midfield player. Giovani Lo Celso is rated as doubtful with a muscle strain but could return to the trip to Brighton on December 28.

Elsewhere, Spurs should be unchanged from Forest, with Brennan Johnson expected to recover from the head injury that forced him off in the first half and Dejan Kulusevski expected to play No10 again.

The likes of James Maddison, Micky van de Ven and Rodrigo Bentancur remain out.

Predicted Tottenham XI (4-2-3-1): Vicario; Porro, Romero, Davies, Emerson; Hojbjerg, Sarr; Johnson, Kulusevski, Son; Richarlison

Injuries: Maddison, Van de Ven, Solomon, Phillips, Sessegnon, Perisic, Bentancur

Doubts: Lo Celso

Suspended: Udogie, Bissouma
