Chelsea head to Wolves in the first Premier League fixture on Christmas Eve for 28 years.

Unsurprisingly, the scheduling of the game has been strongly criticised but it does at least offer the Blues the chance to keep building.

Wolves vs Chelsea is scheduled for a 1pm GMT kick-off time on Sunday 24 December, 2023.

Molineux in Wolverhampton will host.

Wolves hope to have Pedro Neto back in the squad after the winger’s injury, although that is not yet a certainty.

For Chelsea, Christopher Nknuku finally made his debut against Newcastle and Pochettino will be hoping to build on his recent minutes.

The Blues remain without a raft of players including Reece James, Ben Chilwell, Wesley Fofana, Romeo Lavia and Carney Chukwuemeka.

Enzo Fernandez came off against Newcastle due to illness, so a decision will need to be made on the Argentine.

It’s hard to imagine Chelsea suddenly stringing a consistent run together and Wolves have impressed at home this season.
